In the midsts of a mountain area of lakes and forest in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont bordering Canada and New Hampshire  historic Quimby Country awaits.  Over 1000 acres around the surreal Averill Lakes Quimby's offers a rare opportunity for relaxation and recreation.  Our unique charm has evolved over 115 years.  Along the shore of Forest Lake are 20 cottages a recreation hall and main lodge the make the center from which our numerous activities spread out.  Hiking boating tennis and swimming are favorite pastimes.  Just a short walk from the cottages lies Great Averill Lake where we can swim at either of two beaches.  Canoes rowboats and kayaks await.  Fisherman using bait oir flies can troll for trout salmon pike or bass from the five lakes in our location
