My husband asked me to go to PetsMart to buy some fish food while I was running errands...on a Saturday...PetsMart on a Saturday, by myself, is not a good idea! Sure enough, there was a stray puppy who was dropped off in this woman's back yard in the rain, She could not keep her. Ivy had the sweetest face ever. I called my husband to tell him about this sweet puppy...he did not say "no" and simply said "Honey, just come home" So I did--with fish food and a new puppy. I couldn't help it. After about $10,000 in household damage (although not confirmed) from puppyhood, she is the best dog, ever. Ivy is the best companion and is so friendly and social but can be the bodyguard when you need it.
