Cars built with the pet owner in mind! It appears the automotive industry just realized how many people have and bring their pets with them when they travel.
According to the American Pet Product Manufacturers Association (APPMA), 14 million dogs and 3 million cats travel annually with their owners on vacation. And millions more ride in the car with their owners every day.

Honda introduced the dog-friendly Honda Element with a dealer-installed pet option.
2009 Toyota Venza offers canine-friendly options in its new five-passenger crossover, which was designed and engineered in the U.S., exclusively for the North American market.
