Hi,

My name is Stefan and I operate this website together with my cousin Björn.

My wife Suzanne and I live in North Carolina and we love to bring our 2 dogs, Maggie and Ivy, everywhere we go. That’s really what triggered the creation of this website because we found it difficult to easily find pet-friendly hotels and other places to bring them while on vacation or traveling.

We have had a lot of fun creating this web site and we hope you find it useful. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if there is anything we missed, find problems, or have suggestions how we can improve!

Hi
My name is Suzzy and I am the proud parent of two spoiled rotten Boxers!
I bought the Homestead Cottages on Cypress Creek and turned it into pet friendly cabins so familys, the entire family, could go away on a relaxing holdiay.

The feedback in one year has been tremendous! We have had dogs (of course!), cats, rabbits and even a service spider monkey visit with us. The spider monkey was the most interesting! He woudl climb into one of the trees, hang his swing chair and scamper down into it and swing.

I really like your site and was very happy to join when I read about you.

Just a side note, I also started Texas Hill Country Retreats so I could find other pet freindly places and widen the circle of pet friendly places to stay.

I'm Mary Arlington, and I own and operate High Plains Camping. The RV park is my business but before buying it some years ago I was an avid RVer who traveled with 2 dogs and 2 cats. I've been greeted at some RV parks as though all pets were poisonous, and I've had the wonderful pleasure of finding a few parks who enjoyed and appreciated my "little family." So guess what kind of facility I'm running?

Last year we installed our fenced-in and gated dog-run so all companions could get a good work-out after having spent hours on the road.

This year we added some obstacles for them to run around or jump over.

We have lots of fields for walking.

We offer peanut butter treats when we register them.

We sell many toys, travel necessities, treats, and fun stuff for pets in our store.

During scary thunderstorms we allow them inside the building with their masters. For basic enjoyment and safety, and for allergy concerns as well as for the sanity of my own pets, we can't allow pets in the buildings on a regular basis, but we "bend the rules" when those scary and noisy storms start rattling the area.

Needless to say, the campers & RVers who visit us are pleasantly surprised by our attitude, and I like it that way!

Given all of that about me, you can imagine how delighted I was to learn about your web page. I think you offering a great service to the thousands and thousands of pet loving travelers out there!
